Steven Ritcheson, Founder, and President of Insight, PLC, brings thirty years of experience advising and representing a broad range of clients through a multitude of issues. From simple business transactions through complex litigation in numerous state and federal courts, before the International Trade Commission, and in various foreign tribunals, Steven delivers.

 

Steven has represented companies in disputes and transactions involving a wide range of technologies, including those for multiple consumer products; electronic circuitry for flat panel displays and computer peripherals; hardware for on-demand video systems; backup, replication, and clustering and high-availability server software; communications and social media software and services;  and automotive, banking and financial services. He has represented and competed against numerous Fortune 100 companies successfully.

 

Steven has owned and managed a law firm for more than 15 years and has also practiced the law in a wide range of firms from small and medium-sized, to a large, AM100 firm as well as serving as Outside General Counsel for several technology companies. He has also served as General Counsel and Director for West Coast Operations for a boutique investment bank focused on the acquisition, securitization, and disposition of intellectual property.  In 2022 Steven was named a "Lawyer of Distinction" and was recognized for excellence in intellectual property law.
